  1. Thank you for your comment on my blog!

Our feet are tired and we cannot get another bite of food down. It has been a great day indeed:)

  2. Hi Teje,
I’ve nominated your blog for an award. If you choose to accept, great! if you don’t like to take part in awards for any reason at all, there is no need to tell me. Just enjoy a few extra visitors to your blog from the link in my post here

  3. I was searching for herringbone quilt and I found your website. I will read it more in depth but first, your two dogs… So beautiful!! Love at first sight!

  4. I really enjoy reading your blog, it gives me inspiration, and reminds me what a lovely place Crete is. I have a house in Gavalohori but only spend holidays in it, but soon my husband and I will retire there. Do you buy your materials for quilting in Crete or do you bring them from Finland or buy on the internet? Nora

    • Thank you Nora! I’m happy to hear that! I buy most of the Fabrics from the Internet and Finland. Unfortunately it’s not possible to find quilting materials from Crete. People don’t sew much here and it’s not easy to find any kind of good fabrics. x Teje

  6. what a beautiful blog you have!!!! Well done for your inspiration, creativity and consistency in your blog writing….

  7. I would love to see a pattern for your awesome quilt. Julie Herman’s Hex N More & Sidekick rulers are wonderful. Right now I’m working on a BOM with her Park Bench pattern. Just discovered your website. You are very lucky to live and create on the island of Crete – Opa!

    • Jassu Andee! Thank you for your lovely comment! Julie’s ruler is fantastic and she makes great job with the quilts and patterns! I’m happy you found my block. Usually I show also photos ‘on my way’ but this year was really busy. I hope to do that more again. x Teje

  8. Replies. To your comment about using fleece backing, on my blog.

Thank you, Teje. Unfortunately, fleece is very hard to penetrate with a needle. I hand knotted and tied my first one and had to use pliers to pull the needle through the fleece. Flannel would be a better choice for hand quilting if you want only a lightweight quilt. Keep up your great work!

I would love to hear from you! If you have a moment, please leave a message!
