Nero’s Christmas Calendar – day 19 – Holiday Pillow!

Vof vof! So the days pass and get less and less. My Cushion for Christmas is finally ready!

Christmas Pillow

It is a good size pillow to hug – 16″ x 19″. I fixed the form from one bigger,  as I wasn’t sure if there is ready for this size. Now the rest of the ‘fluffy’ is waiting to become soemething cute, perhaps more cousins for Violetta and Stephany!

Pillow with trees

There is snow on the pillow but you can’t see it well – white ball-scraps with few stitches. That is also all the ‘quilting’ on this pillow. Wadding is fluffy polyester which makes the pillow really soft. Backing is simple envelope and binding with snow-white.

Someone is flying for Christmas holidays – did you pick the plane on the sky?!

day 19

Moomins have snow-white, too! That looks heavy snow! If you have snow, you could also make Moomin-snowman!

When I was running in the garden with Hanna, our neighbours came to see what we are doing! Then we went to the other side and they followed us …

I’m so happy to link today at my favourite linky parties! Links are all in my sidelist!

Cushion for Christmas

Thank you dear friends for visiting my Christmas Calendar and for your sweet comments! Thank you also for all the ‘likes’! I do appreciate them! It’s great to know you were here, even so busy with all the Christmas and Holiday preparings!

PS. I promise no more trees from tomorrow! Something different, but can’t say yet …

  1. Your Christmas Tree pillow is beautiful and I like how you made the back of it. What an awesome photo of the pillow on the chair, fabulous scenery around it too. That chair is so cool. Love the picture of your neighbors too, how cute they are.

    • Thank you so much Lea for your lovely comment! I like that chair but it’s only for decoration – couldn’t carry anyone anymore. Last storm broked totally the other chair like this. But it’s still fun for photos. Merry Christmas! x Teje

  2. Love the trees. You can make as many as you want, they are all different and done differently. I like that this time they are not asymmetric like in nature. Have a good day.

  3. LOVE LOVE that pillow. You did a fabulous job

  4. That is a really beautiful pillow! Love the trees and the colors.

  5. Sinullakin on ihana joulukalenteri! Tuo kuusityyny on kyllä niin herkullinen. Rapsutuksia Nerolle ja kavereille

  6. Your “forest” is popping up everywhere!!!!! And, yes, I spotted that plane off to who-know-where!!!! Hugs…….

  7. What a great pillow–and the snowballs are so beautiful! I live in the woods in Maine in the US–north on the Atlantic with BIG winters–so keep those trees coming! Nero, I love how you share your Christmas with us!
